Microsoft will offer SharePoint Designer 2007 free of charge, as a download April 1, 2009.
It´s not yet a formal announcement from any of Microsoft site, but you should soon be able to download it
from Microsoft SharePoint designer.
This i what i think a really nice move from Microsoft, release the
power of SharePoint!
And what´s next? SPD will be shipped together with the next version of SharePoint.
