All about Branding & Customizations in SharePoint

Hi,
I am working on SharePoint 2007 publishing sites. I am facing a problem making the publishing sites XHTML 1.0 strict compliant.

Any help?

Hi, Nahed - ok whats the problems here? Do you have XHTML 1.0 strict as a DT in the masterpage an run the site in W3Cs validator an get many errors? Yes, OOB you will have this problems, can you start from a 'minimal.master' so you more control to the output, and be sure to write your own XHTML and CSS in the right way? Check MSDN for advices about Webstandards. Maybe MVP Zac Smiths blogpost about this could be something for you. // Christian
Thanks Christian for your reply.
I have already created a minimal master page. I've read the two articles that you advised me to read. They are very useful especially Zac Smiths blogpost. I followed some of his tips but still got the55 validation errors. Mostly they becauseof the controls that SharePoint use. If interested, I can send you the url of the site that I am still working. You might have other solutions.
