Page Layout in SharePoint Designer 2010

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if someone would be generous enough to help me out with general page layout and theme (things like placeholders/css/etc).

I have a drawing of a basic page template that I want to make a reality, considering things like people looking from different browsers and screen resolutions (stuff I tried has problems with moving around too much, overlapping, etc).

Also wondering how to tweak the css so I get more style options than available through the theme interface?

Would be so ridiculously grateful to anyone who can help me out with this, either on here or ideally through messenger or Skype or something?
