All about Branding & Customizations in SharePoint

Hi there,

is there a way or a webpart to determine the statistics that are displayed under the "modify all site settings" --> "site collection usage reports" to the customer in a portal?

so with otherwords i want to display the statistics that i can see as an administrator under "modify all site settings" --> "site collection usage reports" to the users?

if this isn't possible, do you guys know any good way of displaying site collection statistics to the users?

Hi Jean, so you want the statistics to show up live in a webpart visibly for the users.. Affraid i dont know how that should be done by SharePoint designer, but i post this anyway. You could always add /_layouts/SPUsageWeb.aspx (or some another stat page) to any site in the URL to see the statistics, nothing for the users but anyway.. Maybe theres a way for the developers via webservices to reach this information.. If anybody else have seen some solution for this, it would be nice to know, so don´t forget this post!
Hi,

If you want to shows the visitor hits you can try Sharepoint hit counter webpart and create a custom webpart
In SharePoint Designer, open up the site that you'd like to see this data for, then follow the navigation: site -> reports. From there you can see lots of data, and in the right corner of that window, a lot of the data gives you the option to graph the results. I am a site administrator and have to use this tool several times a month. It has been a life saver and gives a lot more information than the standard site usage reports available in SharePoint.
